Just the page to read about Chroma!
New lore, character history and even model designs for things like
fan art, model references, regular old appreciation or even... other things!
It's ALL about Chroma!

Chroma Cielo is an extraplanar entity come from the depths of space!
From across the void, she originally arrived on Earth to warn humanity of the waking
of the Outer Gods but as she quickly found out, being a space entity means you don't
have Earth money, and living on Earth ain't free! Ending up working all sorts of odd jobs,
Chroma has ended up assimilated into society and lives paycheck-to-paycheck because
what space entity could resist owning every single piece of Earth clothing she could get
her hands on?
Chroma's true form exists somewhere out in the universe. However, her physical body
and her mind are present on Earth. She doesn't actually have any bones, and may not
actually be composed of organic flesh. Strangely, it seems all reported observances
of Chroma dictate that her appearance differs for every observer. Similarly, her voice
differs for everyone who hears her speak.
Studies have shown that anyone who tries to depict Chroma by way of image will
always depict the same appearance, whether how they perceive her or not.
Reports state that regardless of who observes her, Chroma's appearance will have some
factor of inhumanity, details differing with each report similarly to the previous statements.
Such inhuman features may include, but are not limited to:
Missing creases on her skin
Missing cracks on her lips
A distinct lack of skin pores
Her hair does not part naturally
Her muscles do not move naturally
Any sighting of Chroma Cielo should be reported to your nearest police station
to ensure public safety.

Originally, I had actually designed Chroma as the protagonist of a
Mobile Suit Gundam fanfic, completely unreleased, which I titled
'Mobile Suit: Endless Fable'.
Even then she was a space-faring denizen of the stars, piloting the Pl-E9 Vexin
in her journey across the cosmos to find the F4B-L3 Olympus Gundam!
However, as I came to settle on her design, I found myself infatuated with her and
she suddenly became the default design for female characters I played in video
games, even after I had settled on my way to design characters. As I found I didn't
have the energy or time to keep working on Endless Fable, I ended up adopting
Chroma as an avatar - not just in games, but as profile pictures, and reactive pngs as well.
When I finally decided to start streaming, and vtubing, I knew that I absolutely had
to have miss Chroma Cielo be my model.
She had become not just a character I had created, by an integral part of myself.
Though as I thought more about it, I found it hard to just present myself as a
streamer focused entirely on Gundam due to my character, so instead I kept the
space theme and altered the story to be a little sillier!

Well here we are at the start, Chroma Cielo in the flesh!
Or pixels. Whichever really!
There were a lot of things that helped to inspire her new look,
but most of all was Mobile Suit Gundam. One of the inspirations
alone was Suletta Mercury's white uniform in G-Witch, with the
puffier sleeves and shorts. This new design is far closer to how I
envisioned her in Endless Fable, though of course it doesn't help that
Suletta also has blazing red hair, but I first designed Chroma well
before the anime series released!

I'm still not entirely sure where the purple or green actually came from,
but whatever the case is, it makes for a vibrant pallet! Leaving aside
how crooked her collar is - she really needs to take an iron to that thing -
this is a perfect view to show that her jacket has actual shoulder windows!
That's right, those grey sleeves aren't shoulder pads, but her top underneath
her actual jacket, which can be seen to have a deep cardinal lining inside it!
And on top of it all, her canvas sneakers do have ladybugs on both the
inside and outside of the ankle.

The ladybugs are back! Pun intented, but let's move on.
You can see how her hair is actually split into the two colours,
it isn't just a gradient like a lot of other models floating around.
Just like the mysterious colour out of space, all the ladybugs
crawling around the shoulders of her jacket are a complete
spectrum of varying colours!
Also that ain't a bodysuit, Chroma wears both spats AND thigh socks!

Ah, well... Not much to say here!Kinda just threw this one in the finish up the whole rotation!Well at least now you know miss Chroma looks good from ALL sides!

Her red eye is unnatural, and was the result of her
mobile suit being halfway destroyed and the engine leaking radiation!
Her eye is only red due to the cells mutating from radiation poisoning!
The flag tattoo on her cheek was done when joining a space pirate crew
after defecting from the military of Venus!
But hey, now that she's just a silly space entity I can just say that
they're natural for her.
Right?

Thought I'd just include this since it really ties back into the gal's history.
Keen-eyed observers might notice that the jacket's design is
actually heavily based on the RX-78-2 Gundam's chest shape!
Plus, with 'FLY FOREVER - ENDLESS FABLE' slapped right over each breast,
there's no way in the world I could forget how I dreamed miss Chroma up!

Oh yeah, Chroma's old design. She was really cute, huh?
I just wanted something super simple - I was feeling pretty tired
of seeing vtuber models that were way too over-designed!
Nothing crazy was going on down the sides or on her back,
so there really isn't a need to include more pics of her.
I still use this old one a lot in more chibi-style bits,
or just wherever I feel the simpler style is easier!
So don't worry, this old gal may be gone but she ain't forgotten!
